Graduated with a double master's degree in foreign language and civilization in English and German, Emilie completed her training with a Master 2 in cultural and commercial development in Lille before starting a career in cinema and in the French cultural network abroad. In 2008, she joined Europa Cinemas network as Young Audiences Coordinator. She was appointed Audiovisual Attaché in 2013 and joined the Embassy of France in Germany. She joined the French Cultural Institute in Paris in 2018 as Cinema Director: she developed the European Film Factory cinema education program and contributed to the emergence of young talents internationally. She became there Director of Creation and Cultural Industries in 2021. She joined the Foundation in 2023 to become Audiences Director, in charge of audience engagement, European development and the Pleyel en mouvement project.
