30 UNDER 30 2021, UNSW University

An initiative for 30 emerging professionals

In 2020, to celebrate our 20th anniversary of Communicating the Arts (CTA), we launched this unique initiative to help the upcoming generation of young professionals to stand at the forefront of the cultural scene and thrive. The 30 under 30 initiative dedicated to 30 emerging professionals under 30 from all over the world. As part of our commitment to find answers to big questions of our times, we invited young talent to investigate the larger issues about climate change while gaining new skills and developing their network in the arts sector.

“I always find interaction with young professionals in the industry refreshing and motivating so thank you for this great opportunity.”

"By giving young professionals and students the chance to present contemporary issues that are important to them, the 30 under 30 initiative has its heart at the right spot. Together with an international and diverse cohort, 30 under 30 enabled me to dive deeper into a topic that was already important to me personally. Thanks to the initiative, we had the opportunity to present the research in front of an international audience and put sustainability on the agenda of the biggest cultural institutions. And as a plus, being able to network with other conference participants is invaluable for young professionals like us."
